MGP and Green Hat Support Collective Action to Fight COVID-19

April 16, 2020 (Washington, DC) – Green Hat Gin has joined MGP, their new parent company, to support the production of industrial alcohol and hand sanitizer in the fight against COVID-19. The distillery team at Green Hat Gin is working hard at their DC-based distillery to fill and label 5-gallon containers of sanitizer for local government distribution to essential workers. Green Hat Gin is thankful for their local first responders and is proud to help support them during this difficult time.

MGP and Green Hat have also joined the COVID-19 relief effort with financial aid and other support to the United States Bartenders' Guild (USBG) Relief Fund and The Restaurant Workers Community Foundation Emergency Relief Fund. Acting with the USBG Emergency Fund and The Restaurant Workers Community Foundation, the MGP team is committed to assisting the bar and restaurant community by providing financial aid and other resources for workers who are most impacted by COVID-19 as a result of restaurant and bar closures across the country. If you have the means, we invite you to donate to the USBG Guild Relief Fund or The Restaurant Workers Community Foundation Emergency Relief Fund.
