ATCHISON, Kan., April 7, 2014—MGP today announced that it has hired Heidrick & Struggles, Inc., an executive search firm based in Chicago, to assist the company with the recruitment of a new chief executive officer. MGP added that Heidrick & Struggles would work closely with a search committee established by the company’s Board of Directors.

Currently, Randy Schrick and Don Tracy are filling the roles of interim co-CEO’s. Schrick serves as vice president of engineering at the company, and Tracy is vice president of finance and chief financial officer.
